VH-MBC came on
to the register as VH-ROY in September 1960. It became
–MBC in
August 1964 and looked in excellent condition when David Carter
photographed it at Banks-
town on March 13, 1971 still in its factory finish. In 1976 it
was owned by Kitchings Cotton,
of Wee Waa, NSW. Jack Kitchings was a Californian who
settled in Wee Waa in 1962 to
grow cotton This classic 172 was still current in October
2016, operated by Aerostructures
Australia at
Archerfield.
