VH-KMP     Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee                      (c/n 28-21118)

                                

                                      VH-KMP and VH-KMO were both registered in March 1966, and were three c/ns apart on
                                      the production line.      . The owner was likely Navair of Bankstown which used the VH-KM*
                                      block including Cessna 172 VH-KMQ which was registered three months after the two Chero-
                                      kees.    David Carter’s December 1969 photograph shows –KMP at Bankstown.    In the mid
                                     1970s the Cherokee was with the Ballarat Aero Club although today (2016) is registered to an
                                     owner in Sydney.  Actual base not known.
