VH-KCX   Auster J/1N Aiglet II                            (c/n  3374)

                                                                

                                         The above photograph is a from a slide taken by the Geoff Goodall at Wodonga in September
                                         1984.  Interestingly enough, in the U.K. this model was always referred to as the Auster Alpha,
                                         whereas in Oz (so far as I can recall) we always called them Aiglet IIs, as born out by the KSAS
                                         inscription on the fin.   Imported in 1957, this aircraft is still on the current register.  Geoff's earlier
                                         picture of it below in the hangar at Bourke, NSW, was taken in September 1968.
