VH-IHA  Hughes 269A                              (c/n 122-0146)

                                   

                                       This was the first of many Hughes 269 helicopters imported into Australia by newly formed Hughes
                                       agents International Helicopters Pty Ltd  at Moorabbin in the early 1960s.     A special new hangar
                                       was built for their assembly, testing and maintenance. VH-IHA is seen above on this shot from the
                                       Geoff Goodall collection at Moorabbin in April 1963.
