VH-FNC Fokker
F.27 Friendship 200
(c/n 10143)

First delivered to Ansett-ANA
early in 1960, this Friendship was sold in in 1977 to Merpati
Nusantara
Airlines in Indonesia as PK-MFR. Barry Maclean's shot
(above) was taken
at
Essendon in the mid 1960s. The aircraft had been re-painted
almost from the outset in
the livery of the Airlines of
N.S.W. subsidiary. In 1969 it received a minor titling
change
becoming
"Ansett - Airlines of New South Wales" with the pseudo "Delta"
tail logo. Greg
Banfield's shot of it thus adorned
(below) was taken at Mascot in September 1974
