VH-ESI  Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche B                          (c/n  30-941)

                                     

                                          Here's a Tamair charter Twin Comanche being loaded at Tamworth in 1986.   First registered in
                                          1968, it was ex  N7860Y.     -ESI was written off after aborting a take off due to wet ground at
                                          Inverell North, NSW in February 1990.       The consequent overrun of the runway by some 50
                                          metres resulted in a collapsed port main wheel.   I believe it was deemed beyond economic repair.
