VH-EQX  Britten-Norman BN-2A Islander                   (c/n  164)

                                

                                    This photo by David Carter taken at Bankstown in September 1970 is quite rare inasmuch as
                                    VH-EQX was only on the Australian register for twenty-seven days after its delivery flight from
                                    the U.K.as G-AXYS.  This was just long enough for a servicing and flight check service before
                                    it flew across Tasman to New Zealand where it became ZK-DBV, with Mount Cook Airline.
                                    It was still registered with Milford Sound Flightseeing in August 2016
