                                 VH-EBS was delivered in March 1966 as “Kalgoorlie”, the 6th of the airline’s stretched –338C
                                 models     . David Carter photographed it taxying for take-off at Mascot in 1967 wearing its V-Jet
                                 livery.    In March 1973, Qantas withdrew –EBS from service and leased it to Malaysian Airline
                                 System as 9M-ASO.    A few months later, MAS bought the aircraft.     During its time with the
                                 airline it was reregistered 9M-MSC.   The 707 passed to Libyan operator United African Airlines
                                 in 1981 as 5A-DJO and was destroyed in a crash in Libya on March 14, 1983 when operating as
                                a freighter.
