VH-EAA (3)
Boeing
707-338C
(c/n 19621)

Some 22 of the 320
series Boeing 707s were employed by Qantas. VH-EAA ("Toowoomba")
was the
first of a second batch whose delivery commenced at the end of
1967. A decade later it
was sold
to Young Cargo in Belgium as OO-YCK and operated purely as a
freighter. The three
photos in this entry are all by Greg Banfield, taken at Mascot at
various times. Above in February
1972 with
the original V-Jet
tail, below in September 1974 now wearing the distinctive large
flying
kangaroo, and,
at the bottom of the page, after its repaint as OO-YCK to Young Cargo
in May
1977.
