VH-DGH  Piper PA-22 Colt 108                        (c/n  22-9016)

Here's a Piper Colt wearing one of those dreadful courier-print font regos.
Ian McDonell took the above shot at Redcliffe, Qld in October 2009 and reports that
                                        the two-place Tri-Pacer variant has just undergone a two-year rebuild.  A 1961 model,
it was  imported new in December of that year and given the trade-plate registration
VH-PAQ.    It was then VH-DGW for a while but became VH-DGH in March 1962.
Does the absence of the starboard door and step on the mainwheel strut indicate it is
                                        used for parachute dropping?
