This CFS Comanche at
Perth's Jandakot Airport in October 1969 had evidently been in a
rally or air race.
Above photo by Geoff Goodall It was
seriously damaged by fire in
November1980 and struck off the register. Greg Banfield took a
shot of the mortal remains
of
it at Bankstown in December 1982 (below). Oddly, the
rego has never
been re-assigned.
