VH-CTK  Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee C                   (c/n  28-26412)

                             

                                  In a break from Beechcraft, Civil Flying Services at Moorabbin took delivery of this Cherokee
                                  VH-CTK in January 1970.     David Carter saw it at Bathurst on October 4  that year.  By the
                                  mid 1970s, it was with B.S. Stillwell Aviation in Melbourne before being withdrawn from use
                                  in March 1981.    Eleven years is a short flying career for a Cherokee, even one used for flight
                                  training, and it likely suffered damage that was deemed irreparable.
