VH-CLQ  Beech E50 Twin Bonanza                                       (c/n  EH-67)

                               

                                      VH-CLQ was one of four second-hand Twin Bonanzas imported from the US in the 1965-68 era
                                      by Connellan.  This one was formerly N124PA.  After four years of passenger service it was written
                                      off when it executed a gear-up forced landing in the desert some 40 miles south of Alice Springs on
                                      24 April 1970.  Returned to Connellan's hangar at the Alice, it was stripped of usuable parts     The
                                      above shot, by Roberet Zweck was taken during the rtp'ing process in August 1970.
