VH-CKO  Cessna 182C Skylane                                     (c/n  52908)

                                

                                    This was the former Royal Aero Club of WA's VH-RWO, although it had been VH-WFZ before
                                    that.     When sold to John Collins' Air Rep Services Pty Ltd of Perth it was re-registered -CKO
                                    and named 'Lady Elza'.   It flew many miles for Collins delivering shopping, food and merchandise
                                    ordered from city stores by country folk on remote cattle and sheep properties in the outback of WA.
                                   After WW2 John Collins had operated a charter and flying doctor service from Meekatharra, WA
                                   with Tiger Moths and even the Short Scion VH-UTV and was widely known in the north of the state.
                                   In 1972 he replaced this 182C with a DHA-3 Drover, VH-FDS..  -CKO was written off in a crash
                                   at Kununurra, WA in April 1976.
