VH-EAZ  (1)   CAC CA-6 Wackett  Trainer                       (c/n  317)

                                 

                                     In 1947 Kingsford Smith Aviation in Bankstown operated a couple of Wackett Trainers (the above
                                     plus VH-EAY) on behalf of Qantas.  I am not sure if there were used for aircrew training or as airline
                                     flying club machines.  This aircraft was formerly A3-83 with the RAAF and was re-registered VH-AIQ
                                     (still to KSAS) in 1951.
