VH-BVJ  (1)   Cessna 180A Skywagon                            (c/n 32764)

                               

                                     This shot is from the Robert Blaikie collection.  Robert lived for many years in PNG.  The 180,
                                     which was owned by the Missionary Aviation Fellowship at the time, is shown at a remote air-
                                     strip in the PNG Highlands in the early 1960s.  Ex N7867A, it was first registered in August 1957
                                     and was among the first of its breed imported into Australia.  The pilot standing with the aircraft is
                                     Harold Morton who based it at Tari Airstrip.   In December 1962, when sold off by MAF, it was
                                     re-registered VH-KER.
