VH-BVH  Cessna 170B                                       (c/n  25948)

                              

                                   This Cessna was originally imported as VH-SVD.  It then became VH-BVE (in 1957 for Madang
                                   Air Charters in New Guinea) and remained that way for a couple of years until it was replaced by a
                                   Cessna 182A at which point in time (October of 1959) it became VH-BVH.   Barry Maclean's shot
                                   at Mangalore was taken long after it had shed its authentic Wichita livery, and had been sold by
                                   Madang Air Services, Ltd..
