VH-BVE (2)  Cessna 182A Skylane                        (c/n  34488)

                                

                                    This shot of an early Ansett-MAL Skylane was taken at Goroka in 1966 by Alan Bovelt.  The air-
                                    craft was originally registered to Madang Air Services in New Guinea in November 1959 and foll-
                                    owed a Cessna 172B of the same registration which had been re-registered -BVH the prior month.
                                    Sold off by the airline to Paragon Earthmoving Equipment Co in May 1967, it  was eventually
                                    reregistered P2-BVE.    David Carter saw it as such (below) at Kundiawa, PNG in March 1983.
