VH-BLP  Avro 652A Anson 1                             (ex DG913)

                                

                                   This grainy shot (an enlargement of the complete photo below) and the Albury Aerodrome sign
                                   (foot of the page) are from the Robin Ellis collection (via Ross Gorman).          Robin is the step
                                   daughter of Gus Greenfield who operated Air Taxis of Albury, and who owned this Anson and
                                   also MH120 seen alongside below.    This latter was acquired ostensibly to replace -BLP which
                                   was retired in 1952 due to poor condition.   In the event, MH120 was never used on Greenfield's
                                   Albury-Holbrook-Wagga passenger service, being sold to Brain & Brown a couple of years later
                                   when it became VH-BAF.
