VH-BKN    de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth     (c/n    340/T87)

                           

                               This ropey old Tiger was at Bankstown in 1955.  Looks like it was an ex-aero club aircraft
                               with maybe the badge covered up.   I saw it a couple more times, looking slightly better.
                               Immediately below at Bankstown in 1958 and, bottom of the page, at Moorabbin some
                               time later as a crop duster.  It was finally destroyed in a crash at Mandalya, Victoria in 1960.
                               Dangerous work, this crop dusting.
