Ex A17-703, civilianized in December
1947. Bob Neate's shot (above) was taken at Parkes,
NSW
in 1962. It was owned at the time by veteran aviator Jack Hodder
who operated his air-
craft
maintenance business from this wartime hangar at Parkes.
Also in the hangar was his BA
Eagle VH-ACN which back in 1939, he had flown as G-AFAX from Rangoon,
where he was
working,
to Australia. VH-BJW was withdrawn from use im 1963.
