VH-BIN  de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth                         (c/n  82186)

                                 

                                       VH-BIN was the Hatfield built Tiger, G-AFNM shipped out to Australia just at the outbreak
                                       of WW II.   Upon arrival it was impressed into RAAF service as A17-684.   Returned to the
                                       civilian market after the war, it became VH-BIN, VH-ADO having been reassigned to an ex-
                                       RAAF D.H.60M Moth.  . It remained active as -BIN until Christmas Eve,1992 when it was
                                       reregistered VH-HVY.  Geoff vGoodall saw it (above) at Tyabb in December 1989.  In 2001
                                       it was sold in the USA as N82MK, and lnow ives in Rockford, IL
