VH-BAA (1) de
Havilland D.H.82A Tiger
Moth
(c/n DHA181)

The first VH-BAA was
this Tiger Moth used by Connellan Airways in support of a Flying
Doctor Service contract right after WW
II. The aircraft had been modified by the RAAF
as an air ambulance machine
(A17-180).
Connellan acquired it in October 1946.
It
was reregistered VH-BOA in March 1949. As such it crashed on 22
January 1953 at
Darwin. When restored as a standard two-seat Tiger it became VH-POL.
