                                     Aircraft have always been a part of the Australian pastoral scene, even before the intro-
                                     duction of spreading and spraying aerial applications.  This rural scene, from the National
                                     Archives of Australia shows Grazier Nigel Ross at Kanimbula sheep station with wife
                                     Polly Potter deplaning from VH-ARO at Holbrook NSWi in 1946. 
This must have been
                                     just after the aircraft had been civilianized from A17-106 in October of that year.  Just
                                     over a year later the Tiger was exported to New Zealand as ZK-AXV.
