Here's VH-ARF of the North Queensland Aero Club having its engine primed ('sucking in') prior
                                        to a sortie from Cairns, circa 1952.    Photo via the John Hopton collection.    This aircraft was
                                        written off following a crash at nearby Port Douglas on 30 April 1955.  The photo below, from
                                        the John Oxley Library, State Library of Queensland collection , shows its remains on the beach
                                        at Port Douglas following that accident.  The Tiger was ex A17-81 and had been civilianized in
                                        July 1946.   So far as I know it was never repaired.
