VH-AKL   de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth      (c/n  310/T073)

                           

                               I have two shots of this aircraft.  The top one was shot at Bankstown in 1954 and shows -AKL
                               in the colors of the Aero Club of NSW with an almost indiscernible rego.  It popped into
                               Moorabbin one day early in 1956 (below) with a more readily readable identity.  It was
                               re-registered shortly after I took this photograph as VH-RSD and shortly after that again
                               as VH-FBN.  It was stricken from the register in 1958 following an accident, details of which
                               are not known..
