                                        This Hatfield-built Tiger was one of those which served with the RAAF but were never given A17-
                                        serials, flying instead with its RAF identity of N9270.   The above shot, from the Lawrence Roche
                                        collection shows it at Echo Island in the Northern Territory in 1947.  It had been flown up there by
                                        Lawrence's father, Jack Roche (accompanied by Harry Moss) for delivery to the mission station at
                                        Echo Island.    It was written off in an accident at Darwin on 10 February 1952.  .
