VH-AHA (1) Ryan STM
(c/n 481)

This evocative shot is from the Geoff Goodall
collection and shows -AHA at Bankstown
circa 1950 whilst the machine was owned
by Morris Air Services. This Ryan was formerly
A50-32 with the RAAF and S-45 with the NEI
Navy just prior to the Japanese invasion of
the Dutch East Indies. VH-AHA evidently
suffered an accident at Menangle Racecourse
around about the same time and its rear fuselage was used to repair
VH-AGS at Albury,
NSW in
July of 1950.
