VH-AGK (1) de Havilland D.H.82A Tiger Moth
(c/n DHA975)

This newspaper clipping (culled by
Graeme Parsons from the Hobart Mercury of 19 June
1947) is the
only illustration I am likely to glean of the first VH-AGK, a Tiger
Moth which
crashed at Rosebery, NSW on 17 June 1947. . It had been
civilianized from RAAF service
in
September1945 where it had been A17-540. Graeme advises that the
crash occured in
Tweedmouth Ave, Rosbery, just yards from where his uncle was living at
the time.
