Mary Thurston of the Moth Minor VH-AFU probably
soon after it was civilianized in
July of
1945. Individuals not identified in either image.
Previously A21-23, -AFU was ostensibly
to have
been G-AFYR. When war broke out it was shipped to Australia
immediately and inducted
into the
RAAF. It was written off when it crashed at
Macedon, Victoria on 5 November
1956.
