VH-ADY Auster
J/5G Cirrus Autocar (c/n 2981)

The J/5 Autocar was a development of the earlier J/1
Autocrat, and was built specifically with
the Australasian market in mind.
Consequently, most of them were either VH- or ZK- registered.
VH-ADY was built new in 1952, and did not have
a UK registration. It was written off due to
an accident at Weelong, NSW in 1959.
The current VH-ADY, incidentally, is a MiG 15!
