Above
is a Geoff Goodall photograph of VH-ADN at Bankstown in September 1968,
having
been retired by TAA from their services
to the Lindeman Island resort off the Queensland coast.
Below is a shot from the Phil
Vabre collection taken at Charleville, Qld in
2001 whilst the aircraft
was taking part in the "Airshows in the
Outback" tour. The pilot/owner was Charlie Camilleri.
VH-ADN was built in
1951 for QANTAS and was registered VH-EBT at that time. It was
sold
to
Fiji Airways in 1954 becoming VQ-FAP. In 1961 it was
repatriated back to Australia and
assumed its current identity.
