VH-AAX  de Havilland D.H.83 Fox Moth                 (c/n  4059)

                                    

                                        The rego is visible on this wreck shot on the aft fuselage,  This aircraft was owned by Kevin Parer
                                        and based at Lae, New Guinea.  It was destroyed following a Japanese air raid on Lae airfield on
                                        21 January 1942.   Previously G-ACEC, it was exported to New Guinea in July 1937.  The above
