VH-AAK(2) DHC-2 Beaver
(c/n 137)

VH-AAK was an early Beaver and, like
VH-AAD, came from Malaysia. It was delivered to
the (then) Government
of Malaya in 1951 as VR-RBS. It was then re-registered 9M-ALS
before going to
Australia in 1960. Despite a fairly serious crash at
Nimmitabel, NSW in 1988
it appears to have been
restored, and is current as VH-AUH. Forty-seven years on and it is
still an agricultural
aircraft, (registered to AirAg - same company?) based at Bankstown
.
