                                        This aircraft was re-registered VH-SBO in 1962 (and renamed 'Goroka') as part
                                        of the TAA 'Sunbird' services which operated in Papua/New Guinea.  It was later
                                        sold to Air Nuigini as P2-ANT but returned to Australia in 1978, reverting to VH-SBO.
                                        It is preserved in Tamworth, NSW.      VH-AEU was received by Qantas Empire
                                        Airways on 16 July 1944, then handed over to Guinea Airways, Parafield in January
                                        1945 for their Adelaide-Darwin service, and taken over by MMA in November 1945
                                        for their main Perth-Darwin service.    It was finally handed over to TAA on 25 March
                                        1947.   Immediately below is a CofA image (via Fred Niven) of -AEU in early Guinea
